Below is information regarding your access to UCLA Campus provisioned services after you graduate. Please read carefully.

  • Google Apps Email

Students who have completed a degree are automatically eligible for lifetime e-mail access. You can simply continue using your Google Apps hosted e-mail account (including all associated Google services) or opt to activate lifetime email forwarding on your e-mail address. No action is required if you are already on Google Apps.

Students who have completed a degree and former staff/faculty who have officially retired from UCLA are automatically eligible for continued Google Workspace with e-mail access and a 5 GB Gmail quota. For more information please see our Google Workspace Service Adjustments website.

Your access to all non-email services will be deactivated after you are no longer registered as a student. This includes VPN, proxy, and wireless,  as well as access to licensed software .

  • Box Service Eligibility

All registered UCLA students with active appointments are automatically eligible for a UCLA Box account. UCLA Box is not available to alumniYou will lose your access to UCLA Box once you are no longer registered as a student. You will lose UCLA Box access immediately upon your separation from the university.

Please make sure to transfer ownership of your data to a personal Box account or make a local backup of any data you require continued access to.

Alternatively, you can also request that your UCLA Box account be converted to a personal Box account. * We recommend doing this AFTER you are done with your finals so you don’t lose access to shared material * If you'd prefer the second option, please e-mail help@it.ucla.edu for further assistance.
